Morning Drop-Off-Please drop off your child in the back of the school near the patio area. This is the area near the cafeteria and car line.
The Summer Program staff will be there to meet you and your child and check them in. All children must be signed in by a parent/guardian. Please notify the staff at this time if somebody different will be picking up your child. DO NOT drop your children off in the front office. Morning Drop Off: No earlier than 7:00 a.m.
PICK-UP-Please make sure to pick up your child at the same place you dropped them off. Please make sure you complete the checkout sheet. If you check out early, please see our camp calendar to make sure we are back from field trips. All students must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. Please make sure you notify the front office if you are running late. A fee of $1.00 per minute per child will be charged. This fee will be strictly enforced and must be paid in cash or check no later than the day following the late pickup.
Snacks- We will provide an optional breakfast daily from 7:00 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. Students will be given an afternoon snack.
Lunch Time- Please make sure you pack a lunch daily for your child. Please make sure you include an ice pack in the lunch box. Please remember to pack a water bottle every day.
Rest Time- There wil be a suggested rest/downtime every day. Students will need to bring a towel or nap mat to lay down. Students in K-2 will have story time before rest time daily. Students in grade 3-5 will be able to read or rest daily during quiet time. Please label all of your child's items they bring daily to camp. Please remember to take your rest mats home every Friday.
Calendar of Events- You will recieve a monthly calendar of daily activities and events. Please keep it as a reference.
Payments/Late Fee- Summer Camp tuition is due on Tuesday. Please make sure you make checks payable to Rainbow Elementary School. If your payment is late, a fee of $5.00 will be added to your account. Your child will be dismissed from the program after two weeks of non payment of fees.
Electronic Devices- Students will be allowed to bring their personal devices to camp. They may use them only at authorized times. The students will be responsible to keep up with their device.
Health Concerns- If your child has a food allergy or any health concerns and you did not complete that section of the registration form, please make sure you speak to the director on duty to update this information as soon as possible. Our goal is to keep every student safe.
Vacation- Each child is allowed a one week vacation during which no fees will be applied. These days must be consecutive in a week. Exemptions from payments of fees will be given only for death of an immediate family member or the child's illness resulting in an absence of one week or more. A doctor's excuse may be required.
Field Trips - We have several field trips during the week. We wil provide a monthly calendar as a guide. Please pick up a copy at the sign-in table. Our goal is to follow our monthly calendar. However, if we have to make changes, you will be informed through Remind or changes posted at the sign-in table.
