Mrs. Rosalie Eddy

My name is Rosalie Eddy.  My husband and I got married in May 2016, I started working at LMS in the fall of 2016, and we welcomed our first child into our family in August 2017.  My husband is a state law enforcement officer and is also in the National Guard.  Our son, Elijah, will be two years old this August and I am blown away by how quickly the time has flown!  I truly treasure every moment that I have with him and I promise to make the most of my time with your children because I hope Elijah's teachers will make the most of their time with him.  My father was active duty Army for 28 years so I grew up moving about every 3 years and attended 7 different schools before I graduated from high school.  My absolute favorite duty station was Schofield Barrakcs in Hawaii.  Although I grew to love it, I actually hated Hawaii at first because we moved there in the middle of 8th grade, and that experience truly shaped my mindset for the rest of my life.  Growing up the way I did gave me a heart for students starting over... and over and over.  Moving to Hawaii in the middle of 8th grade gave me a heart for middle schoolers.  I love helping students find the place they feel they belong, in school and beyond.

This year I am teaching Math 6 Honors, Environmental Explorations, and Energy and the Environment.  I also sponsor the Recycling Club and we strive to make a difference in sustainability here at LMS as well as reducing our waste!
