Amy Thaxton is in her 19th year at Bob Jones. Mrs. Thaxton is serving in her 9th year as the Assistant Principal of Instruction. She takes great pride in Bob Jones academically, as well as the arts and athletic programs. She has the opportunity to partner with some amazing teachers on best classroom practices to impact student achievement. 

Mrs. Thaxton is a product of Madison City Schools as she attended West Madison, Madison, Liberty, and BJHS. She is an extremely proud 1999 BJHS graduate and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009. Her experiences at Bob Jones as a student were very positive and helped to prepare her for the future. She is honored to be a part of a wonderful staff that strives for excellence in education, while motivating students to always do their best in any situation, whether in school or in life.
