Mrs. Baragona attended Oklahoma State University, Tarrant County College, and the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her bachelor's degree in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from University of Southern Mississippi. Additionally, she earned her masters degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University.
Mrs. Baragona has 15 years of experience as a classroom teacher. She began her teaching career in Memphis City Schools (Memphis, TN). She taught high school, middle school, and pre-school hearing impaired classes. She has also taught in the Boerne Independent School District (Boerne, TX) as an itinerant teacher for the hearing impaired. Mrs. Baragona has spent the last 9 years at Discovery Middle School. She has taught special education, 7th and 8th grade math, Digital Publishing Tools, Money Money Money, and 6th grade Scholar's Bowl.
Mrs. Baragona is a native of Oklahoma, but claims Texas as home. She and her family have called Huntsville home for 9 years. Her family includes her husband and three children. Some of her hobbies include reading, exploring new technology, and spending time outside by the pool.
