Proposed Policy Changes/Additions Up For 1st Reading Feb. 22 BOE Meeting

 The following actions were approved by the Madison City Schools Policy Committee on Feb. 13.
They will be considered as a first reading at the Feb. 22 Board meeting and considered for final action in the March 8 meeting. Any questions or comments should be directed to Personnel Coordinator John Jones at jjones@madisoncity.k12.al.us 

4.4. Use of Board Property 
 4.4.4 (proposed) An addition addressing Renovations or Upgrades to Board Facilities saying any work performed to renovate or upgrade Board facilities must be board approved, notwithstanding the source of the labor or funds.

7.3 Academic Standards: adding Spanish to Dual Enrollment at 6.0 (proposed)

Dual enrollment credit proposed on a 6.0 scale.
The Spanish Conversation at UAH goes beyond the level of Spanish taught in our high schools.

WLC 302S (Composition: Spanish)
Dual enrollment credit proposed on a 6.0 scale.
The Spanish Composition at UAH goes beyond the level of Spanish taught in our high schools.
