Information About Moving 6th Grade Into Middle Schools in 2018-19

Superintendent Robby Parker and the Instruction Team of Madison City Schools have created a 6th Grade Transition page on the MCS website.
You can access it via the blue "6th Grade Transition Information" button (framed in arrows) on the MCS home page, or under the Instruction tab on the left.
This feature includes an FAQ page to answer some of the Frequently Asked Questions about moving 6th grade into the middle schools beginning with the 2018-19 school year. Instructional leaders know there are many more questions. Updates are being done as soon as definitive answers are known.
Public input is welcomed.
The new FAQ page includes a Community Feedback feature. Please feel free to share any ideas, questions or concerns with our leadership team.
