Looking for something for your rising 4th through 8th grader to do as soon as school lets out?
Lindsay Lane Christian Academy in Athens is hosting a robotics and science camp the 1st weekend in June.
It's called Star Camp, and it incorporates science, technology and robotics.
The LLCA Robotics Team will be leading the camp with fun learning about simple machines, Lego Robotics and GameMaker. There will also be outdoor activities.
The camp will focus on learning to program the EV3 Lego robot or program your own video game using Gamemaker, and also simple machines with many hands-on activities.
The camp is June 4- 8, from 8 a.m. to noon.
The cost is $125, which includes a T-shirt, snacks, notebook, and all materials.
