Madison City Schools Climbs to 2nd Best School District in Alabama of 137 Statewide

A leading national school research group has ranked Madison City Schools as the 2nd best School District in Alabama out of 137 statewide.

Madison City Schools has frequently been in the top 10 and is now at 2nd place, behind only Mountain Brook.
Equally impressive is how individual schools fared.
Both Bob Jones and James Clemens placed in the top 5 high schools in Alabama out of more than 300 statewide.
Both Discovery Middle and Liberty Middle were in the top 6 middle schools.
All seven Madison City elementary schools ranked in the top 20 out of 770 statewide, with four in the top 10.
Madison City Schools Superintendent Robby Parker sent an email to employees, saying the rankings are a direct result of teachers, staffs and local administrators. "I am so proud of each of you. You are all life changers," he said.
Mr. Parker also commended the strong support of the community and having good parents and students.
