LeanStream Crowd-Funding Site To Help Fill Classroom / School Group Needs

Madison City Schools is developing a crowd-funding account to help schools and school-based groups raise money for various causes.
Instead of car washes, candy sales and other activities that remit only a portion of the sales money, the new LEANStream platform enables givers to view a "needs gallery" and donate directly to that cause.

The account would work much like the MCS Safety and Security Fund that was launched on the MCS website several months ago. That initiative lets school parents and citizens donate money to help pay for more SROs and mental health counseling in schools.

Several needs have since been added to the LeanStream site with more to come. The initiative will be launched districtwide after logistics are worked out and schools are educated how it will work.

Click the following link for the MCS LeanStream page: https://www.leanstreamrp.com/pages/district/6/madison-city-public-schools . There, you can join scores of fellow citizens in donating to the safety and security fund or click the "needs gallery" to explore other MCS causes seeking support.

An option is being added to the online fee payment form of every Madison City School for donations to the MCS Safety & Security Fund.

Watch for more details on the expanded LeanStream platform in the coming weeks.
